Branches & transfers
Managing more than one branch, picking an active branch, and transferring stock between branches.

Enabling branch mode
Every shop starts with no branches (single-location). Creating the first branch from Settings permanently enables “branch mode” for that shop.
Every non-OWNER user is linked to one or more branches from the Employees page or the branch-membership settings.
Picking the active branch
Once branch mode is on, an “active branch” switcher appears in the topbar — it decides which branch new sales, purchases, and expenses are recorded against.
A user linked to only one branch never needs to pick — it's automatic. A user linked to more than one branch with no default is asked to pick before completing any transaction.
The OWNER always sees every branch in reports regardless of the active-branch pick — the active branch only affects new transactions, never reports.
Stock transfer orders
From the “Transfers” page a transfer order moves through three states: draft, in transit, then received. Stock is deducted from the source branch on ship and added to the destination branch on receive.
A transfer cannot ship more than what's actually available at the specific source branch.
Per-branch receipt numbering (optional)
By default every branch shares one receipt numbering sequence. The OWNER can enable a separate sequence per branch (by giving the branch a short code) from branch settings, if that's useful for bookkeeping.
